The first time I went here, the staff were really nice. They made me feel so welcome in the shop^^omg, they even shook my hand haha!
I was originally supposed to go to the coffee shop in front of it, but I went to Ellatte instead because it looked like it had more to offer. I ordered their Sea Salt Matcha Latte and a banana muffin with chocolate chips on the side.
I stayed there for around five hours to study and chatted with a friend. My matcha tasted the same even after a few hours as it did when I first got it, which I really appreciated. It tasted really nice^^ definitely one of my favorite matcha spots now!
The only thing that bothered me was that the place felt overcrowded, since it’s right outside De La Salle (which is honestly to be expected). Almost every wall corner had a charging socket, though, which was super convenient. I’ll definitely come back next time!
The staff is very nice, and the drinks are rlly good and reasonably priced. You can also ask the staff to adjust the sweetness of your drink. Ambiance is conducive for studying, and they also have sockets and free wifi. Outside food are allowed, so if you want to have a meal along with your drink, you definitely can! Though I would say that their pastas are good too :)) They also provide service water.
Highly highly recommend for studying or hanging out with friends if you're around Taft! 🙂
